Wherever the spirit leads. One designated stop in Charlotte to see the last remaining Viet Nam buddy. Possible stops, Portland, ME & Glacier Nat’l Park. Need to hit Dallas for the 4th and family.
Any thoughts for other stops?
Did 8,300 miles last summer, so distance not an issue.

Williamsburg and Yorktown VA, Monticello in Charlottesville, then up to western PA to see where George Washington led troops at Ft. Necessity, then to Ohio for the Gnadenhutten massacre.
A night or two at Shaker town at Pleasant Hill.
That should Give you some perspective about the early states.

Maybe check out Rayne, LA. They have little frogs around town. It’s cute.

If you're going to Glacier then stop along the way at Teddy Roosevelt National Park near Medora, ND. A National Park that hasn't been completely overrun and provides lots of solitude. On your way to Glacier get off the interstate in Montana and take the back roads and you'll have a great time if you like peace and quiet.
Do you have an RV? My dad lives in SD and he's a purple heart Vietnam vet and I'm sure he'd love to have you stop in their town of 100 people. Lots of RV hookups and dirt cheap. Good people.
