YES. What's the latest Oak Alley update?
nothing really. 74 to 30 is done. 2nd entrance is done. 1st entrance is fine and will stay that way for a while. 74 to 73 is my biggest concern. was coming up rather quickly @ moss pointe earlier. but should be good through tomorrow. don't quote me on that

Schemelly I was trying to up vote you and accidentally down voted. Stupid IPad. I completely agree. ALL the news I got during this was from the OT. If the neighborhood message board said "time to evacuate now" and it turned out to be a bunch of looters [long story] and the OT said "not true" I did what the OT said!

This is what most of us had to do. I praised guys like supernovasky in the other thread. We stayed in front of it here while the media mostly wanted to capture rescues and damage.

What makes you think it'll be fine for a while? Isn't water rising?

Moss Pointe is fine. Ponds are high but no problem getting in and out of neighborhood.

Agreed - there has been very little coverage or discussion about Alligator Bayou. I know other areas of the parish are in much worse shape, but the water is still rising here. Some discussion/prediction/information about what's going on there and what we might expect would be good information to spread out.

cause the elevation where that water is at is like 11 and the elevation of the other entrance is about 16.5. It's rising at a snails pace. Now if we get a bunch rain, shite gonna get interesting
