The foundation pays TAF, TAF gives the foundation tickets, the foundation gives the tickets to donors, the donors give the foundation money, the kids hospital gets funded.
Which part is illegal or immoral?
ETA: Rumor has it the foundation also tried to buy the donors a hot dog and a beer but catering had run out. Call in the goblins with badges.

What’s the difference between that and what Funes did? If Funes was playing ball with the boosters...then using your logic he did nothing wrong

Man, I am not saying any amount of stolen money is acceptable. I am saying that you bashing these pristine nuns is a joke and they are the reason we have a great hospital here in BR and you have to go to Dallas to be treated.

These nuns knew what was going on they looked the other way while money was going out the back door right to the TAF...people need to demand the TAF give back all the money to the kids with cancer I’m disgusted by all this

I fly in a couple of ballers. I put them up in a suite, feed them double shrimp remoulades and ribeyes at Ruth's Chris, water them, take them to the game, helicopter them past contraflow and send them off. I get tickets to any games I want due to a $20k donation to TAF.
They, as CEO and CFO of Acme, write me a check for $10 million to the foundation. Sorry about ripping that $20k from the cancerous kids to wine and dine the ballers.

Little little boy. But giving money to La Tech would've been acceptable? This has become an ignorant thread. Stealing from a charity is wrong and criminal. Why someone did is irrelevant and as in all cases of theft if it is deemed that monies stolen were given to an entity like the TAF, then they would be returned so It will right itself. Go do your own investigation(you seem to be entrenched with the people who know and have apples) and make it right instead of just talking about it all day...

And a Foundation can, and does, make money from other sources besides donations.

They gave the TAF a grant? I'm really getting worried now man.
Because it isn't illegal. You're a dipshit with either a hatred for LSU or a mental handicap either way you're not making much sense. If it was illegally given to TAF, then rest assured that 20k of whatever was stolen will be returned because TAF has that to give back. There isn't a gray area with that.

Thy donated the money.. they buy tickets in return.. they use those tickets in the process of generating donations for the foundation.. they raffle some off, they give some away( probably to donors and to employees). This is all standard operating procedure for a large foundation that operates in a city with high value attractions..
