With everything that is swirling around, this seems counter-productive. People need to circle the wagons, not have a circular firing squad. Can't have all the rats turning on each other. That plays right into the hands of the enemy as they look to turn more people.

Hopefully he didn't leave any trails back to himself. I know he is crafty. But I don't think he has every taken on foes like this.

I have always viewed Lipsey as a guy that likes to stay behind the curtains. He has quietly be a mover and shaker in BR and LSU for decades. Why this, now? It seems very out of character, almost like he is panicing about something? Ideas?

These folks need to be able to stand their ground with a regulatory agency. This is done all day every day in private industry and the public sector. Yes, when you’re wrong you’re wrong but even if you are you still fight for fair treatment from said regulator.
I am not sure private industry guys have 2 active FBI investigation on their door step "every day". I think most would be soiling their britches.

I am surprised Lipsey was smoked out of his hole and making himself a public figure in this. He and the rest of his kind in Baton Rouge have always liked to stand in the shadows and pull the strings from out of sight. I wonder what has spooked him and has him acting out of character?

As long as there is a clause to fire him for cause, this may be a trap the admin is setting for him...get him into what appears to be a better contract, but actually makes it easier to let him go if anything pops with this federal investigation of OLOL/LSU.

LSUMegaFan4Life seams to have been the guy with the real details early on. Look at page 20 of that threat. He "speculates" about donors making tax free donations funneled to LSU. He also seems to have made the ultimate sacrifice. It looks like he was banned for telling the truth. Guess he will not be able to scoop the press by 4 months anymore. A black eye for Tiger Droppings if you was me. Also, note that Bjorn Cyborg was working overtime back then to discredit the story.
