You don't know who he has and has not spoke to. It's pretty normal in all kinds of crimes for information to be kept quite due to an ongoing investigation.
Maybe they are still looking into other people being involved.

That’s my point the only people he is involved with are the big boosters at LSU that are giving to the foundation...so if he is rolling over on them what do you think they were involved in? That’s my point they have to get the money to the players some way...if it was as simple as Drugs, gambling a Ponzi sceme it would already be out there

Maybe. I bet though if there was any thoughts at all of players being involved, the Rant and talk radio would be blowing up like crazy. Somebody would know something and leak it.

Nah. This is just them taking the time to get their stories right before it all comes out. It isn’t just the criminal case people, it’s the very powerful OLOL folks figuring out how to frame this so they don’t get mud on their faces. They want to make sure the fact that they left the piggy bank wide open to this guy with tens of millions of donations unguarded doesn’t come out.
You can believe that EBRSO got this and not BRPD because EBR can be controlled. While the city PD answers to the Mayor they are still Civil Service and have some autonomy. EBRSO answers only to the elected Sheriff and Sid conducts business with politics and not crime fighting as the first priority. If his deputies leak info before he is ready, they get fired on the spot. You can be assured that Sid and the OLOL Board have been meeting to discuss how the eventual info will come out and hot to frame it in the best light.

Ok so we are in agreement that this isn’t drugs, fancy dining or gambling.
This has LSU sports written all over it and this town is covering it up...the Sheriff department hasn’t looked at one document yet and meanwhile Funes has not been charged with anything

Is the OLOL Foundation located at the hospital? I was thinking that was outside the city limits but after further review it looks like it is inside the city.

How do you know this?? It isn’t like this is some simple investigation. There’s probably hundreds if not thousands of documents the SO will have to go through. Investigations like this don’t happen over night and can takes weeks if not months to complete.

The meat of the investigation has been completed by the independent accountants. Apparently the evidence is strong and the guy admitted to the crime.
They will hand over what they have and go over it with the EBRSO. It's not as if the Sheriff has to find anything.
