They probably have text messages, eyewitnesses, physical evidence like gun powder residue as well as a motive on him. I'm sure they feel pretty good about having their guy if they announced the arrest like they did.

Depending on where you are going once you get here. There is no way to avoid driving within a few miles of the airport coming in on 55, you can easily avoid it coming in on 78/22. I would be interested in where he was caught (i.e. on the interstate or not), there is no reason to get off of the interstate system right there unless you are going to the airport

Not to mention, if they caught him in Memphis that quickly they put a good bid of effort into finding him. It wasn't a casual squad car over to his apartment and he was there or a phone call. I doubt he was answering his phone and told the cops he was in memphis. They likely tracked his phone and found him.

Memphis International Airport, which is why I used MIA because I don’t know the airport code for it.

Based on the map I am seeing, that is a decent way north of the airport, meaning he would have passed it coming from Oxford and kept going.

I think this guy did it, but simply saying “well the cops arrested him quick so he must have done it” isn’t really sound reasoning
They sure better hope dad doesn’t actually have proof he wasn’t in the area during the crime
While compelling, every thing in this thread posted is circumstantial. I would hope that law enforcement has more evidence

I've gone out plenty and walked up to a bar and they had a cover and said screw that and walked to the next bar. I was saying she likely was either at another bar or she went out looking for someone and they weren't there so she just went home.
