Nerd that I am, I take it back and sometimes two of them.

I figure it's loving my neighbor as my self.

So where was he on your walk to the store? Where was he during the store?

In the cart? Why can’t he be in the cart when you return it?

Tell yourself whatever you want. You’re an a-hole and I’ll 100% move your cart back behind your car if I see it

I feel like there is definitely a few people on the O-T who never returns the cart.

Speaking as to your own cart....

First offense - Six months in jail
Second offense - A year in prison
Third offense- Death

Our society would be better for it.

You're a lazy POS. I have a 2 and 4 year old and it is not even close to a hassle to return the cart with the kids with me.

Do you leave him in the car to go get the cart?

Little known fact

Sylvan N Goldman from OKC invented the shopping cart. He has a building downtown his estate gifted.

How did that person push the cart around the store and to their car to begin with? Why is the line drawn at that last step?

Every situation is different. Maybe they’re recovering from muscle atrophy after a severe injury and they could barely even make it back to their car.

Walk it back into the store.

That’s ridiculous. If the store doesn’t put out corrals then you shouldn’t be expected to bring it back inside. Nobody would do that unless you’re in a tiny parking lot with the store 50 feet away.

Of course you should. Take pride in being able bodied and not fat.

I'm fat and still take the cart back. Even with my burden of a child weighing me down.

I usually grab a cart from the lot instead of getting one inside. When done, it goes into the cart corral.

I usually park next to the shopping cart corral which makes returning it very convenient. I started doing this right after I injured my knee.

Of course you must return the cart to the cart corral.

Another great test at the grocery store is whether someone puts the divider behind their order after they finish unloading their cart onto the belt. A simple consideration but many people fail to do it.

I certainly agree with the theory

We pulled up on our pastor unloading his car a few weeks ago. My wife and I were both like "man if this goes wrong we're going to have to find a new church"

But he dutifully took it to the nearest corral as any man of God does.

Question is how far will you go to return the cart if the parking lot has too few cart returns? Will you walk two rows over? Three?

I park near car returns when possible to not have this issue, but one store I frequent only has two returns in a fairly large lot, so I don’t judge people for just tucking them away neatly somewhere nearer to their car.
