Run DMC / Beastie Boys?
Bleached and tossed.

Fleetwood Mac or Billy Joel?
Don't think so.

U2?
Laters baby.

Elton John??
Ok. Who really needs that one

And numerous other ones.

1985 is my earliest surviving t-shirt.

A tie between a Company-logoed baseball tee shirt from the Fortune 500 firm which my dad worked

OR

A high school football schimmel shirt (like this):

And then-
An Elton John "Jump Up" Tour T-shirt ('82)
A Police "Synchronicity" Tour baseball sleeve shirt ('83)
And the T-Shirt I wore today to JazzFest from '84- my late dad's "Potomac State Catamounts" shirt that goes everywhere of note I go to with me. Felt like breaking it out today.

Ninth grade football jersey wasn't much more than a tee shirt.

Kosciusko Whippets from 1974. Our 7th, 8th, 9th, and varsity teams went undefeated that year.

I have a few old ones from my days of offshore tournament fishing and bass tournament fishing in the early 1980's thru the 90's. My best are just plain old tee shirts that has been wash 2000X that one can just about see thru. Even with a ton of spots. Wife keeps trying to throw them away. I tell her not no, but hell no.

i still have a Raceland Lower Elem Bandits shirt that i got when i was in 1st grade... it was way oversized back then, but i still it fit it to this day....

let's see.... 1st grade is what, 6 or 7 years old... that makes the shirt 27 or 28 years old....
