Old People Are Racist and it is Funny

I went to the dentist today and in the waiting area they had a tv on Kelly Ripa's show and Terry Crews was on.. The only other people in the waiting area was this old woman.. Looked to be maybe.. Mid 70s and someone with her who could have possibly been her daughter.
The old woman said at a volume where she wasn't trying to whisper or anything "that's one of those blacks that use to be an athlete but he is a movie star now. I saw him on the talk before. He looks like that eddie murphy and montel williams"
I don't think he really looks like either one, which is why I thought it was funny. She was still talking about it when I got called to the back. The receptionist girl looked at me as if she knew I thought it was funny and she thought it was funny as well.. Then she turned in her chair to laugh.
It could have been worse, she could have said another word, but it's just funny because old people grew up in a different world and they DGAF.

My grandparents still refer to black people as colored folks. It wasn't a slur back in their day I guess.

Old people on drugs are even funnier. I once saw an old man being pushed in a wheelchair by an African American nurse after he had a colonoscopy. He was telling her "everything was fine until they let y'all vote."
Then again he seemed pretty mean before he was brought in the back so maybe that's just the way he was.

How do they clean your teeth? Do they out you in the chair or what, genuine question. My mom is a dental hygienist and I don't think she's ever had a patient in a wheelchair.
