Why the frick do they randomly give old folks pre check TSA privileges without going through the pre qualifications? Most people who go through the hassle of getting pre check are frequent travelers who know how to properly go through security. These old birds just clog up the line. Old man in front of me just tried to walk through the metal detector with about three pounds of nickels and dimes in his cargo shorts pocket. He had to go through three times because he kept forgetting additional change in one of his twelve pockets.

That's the same old man that drives 55 in the left lane of the interstate.

This is an understatement. How many bag checks do they have to do because bottles of liquids left in bags. We’ve only been having that rule for 15 plus years.

Airports are an observation about the general population.

They live their lives by the seat of their pants, no planning, don't pay attention to how society functions, and caught up in their own selves.

My bag got checked twice yesterday. Once in Madrid and once in JFK. I had a corkscrew in it that I purchased in Italy and forgot that it was in my backpack. Madrid missed it but JFK took it away.

Nothing more frustrating than two clueless old people struggling at the conveyer while there's four frequent travelers standing there impatiently ready to go.

That’s acceptable. I don’t mind that and have actually done it before.

I drove somewhere with my grandpa in the car...he is 88. We get on the interstate and he is flipping out. I said what, I'm not even speeding. I think I was just over 70mph. He tells me 70 is the damn limit, I needed to be going 55 or 60. Just bc it's the limit doesn't mean you have to do it.

Funny you say that. Same old man with the twelve pockets of change left all his shite on the metal rollers. I had to push all his shite on the belt.

Remember someday you will be old and your words will come back to haunt you. Learn a lesson in patience, and next time pat the old man on his back (or bow to the elderly woman) and wish them a good day.

Getting old is not for sissies!

I’m not talking about a senile old man. I’m talking about an able bodied 60 year old dip shite.

One need only drive a vehicle around the 'arrivals' lanes at any airport in the country with more than one concourse to verify this fact.

I feel like every single person I get behind in line in security is getting on a plane for the first time in their lives.

Preach on brotha. There are signs and even someone yelling every 30 seconds what you need to do and have ready and it never fails that there are 5 people that are “surprised” or didn’t realize they were doing something wrong.

also a real good look at how rude, self absorbed, and inconsiderate society has gotten to be

they way to stop that is simple, you do that you are pulled out of line and put into additional screening area conducted by a different screening crew where you wait a minimum of 2 hours to have your bags and person searched along with interrogation why you felt you didnt have to follow the rules and what other rules are they trying to break, thus forcing you to miss your flight but not causing delays to non-retarded travelers

once word gets out the penalty is automatic 4-6 hr delay and you miss your flight, people will actually make an effort to follow the rules
