The video starts when he hits the wildebeest. So unless there is other video, we must postulate on the events prior to the video start.
The puncher looks like a basic middle class grouchy old fart. The punchee looks like a fatty, moon pie enraged middle class karen.
My initial thought is she earned a pop to the snout. Equal rights and all.
Don't hit a lady is rather basic civility. Sometimes the lady crosses the line of civility, and loses that basic protection.
Old guy was probably drinking since breakfast though. Doesn't help making decisions...

White had dude looks to be the biggest bitch of them all. Looks like he had nothing to do with it and just wanted to land some blows on an old man who tried to harpoon the land whale.

Apparently south Mississippi had a big brawl weekend. Ocean springs had one. What I can’t figure out is how there’s day parades where kids are discouraged from going. Adults plus alcohol seem to ruin everything that should be fun for kids.

There was a guy on FB that said he was a part of the group the older guy was with. He said essentially there was a group in front of them (that the big girl was a part of) that had set up shop and claimed that "space" for themselves. The guy on FB said his group set up shop behind this other group, and at some point tensions started to flare when kids were "slightly impeding" on the space the big girls group had claimed. Tensions continued to escalate, and it sounds like it boiled over when an ice chest that kids were standing on top of (maybe by the girl in the video?) was purposely kicked over. The guy claims this isn't the only video of the incident.

I agree here.
Sometimes in life, where you are at a certain age (in this case the old man), you just have to mind your own business, be at peace with yourself and everybody else, and live a happy, harmonious life. The old man was acting like a teenager at best. And I'm sure big mama was being a karen.
