Not all of Pawn Stars‘ Richard Harrison‘s kids were included in his will.

Harrison, known “Old Man” on the hit reality show, left one of his three sons out of his final will.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Harrison originally named his wife and three children as beneficiaries, with his son and Pawn Stars costar Rick named as the administrator of the estate.

But in 2017, Harrison signed an updated document that cut his son Christopher out from the will.

“I would like to express my love and affection for [Christopher Harrison]; however for the purposes of this Will, I have intentionally and with full knowledge failed to provide for him and his issue,” state the documents.

Christopher is the youngest of the three sons. It is not clear as to why he was cut out.

The documents do not state how much Harrison’s estate is worth.

Damn. I dont know about their situation but I’d like to think that if that happened to me I’d still split with my brother equally. Because, well, family.

Maybe “his issue” is drugs and he felt like he would be enabling that

If his issue is a drug addiction or something, then maybe that’s a good thing

I'm certain it's drugs. What else could it be?

Could be bad with money

Could be personal differences

Could be about a woman or kid(s)

Could have been dispute with another one of the brothers

Degenerate gambler. Even in Vegas he could see the excess money as potentially causing problems to whatever life he was trying to hold together.

Funny since they once did a skit about Rick reworking his will and possibly leaving out his kids

By "his issue" I believe that means his offspring.

The old man flat left his grandkids out, too. That's what "his issue" legally means used like that in a will. He cut his son and all of his son's descendants out.

It really could be anything, though. Perhaps that son needed a lot of money for something legitimate that he just didn't have. He goes to the old man and the family and asks for the money. They agree that the old man will fund whatever the son asks for, but that counts as his inheritance. The will is rewritten to explicitly exclude that son and his kids from any claim on the remaining estate, a fat check is written, and everyone is happy.

It's not always bad blood or anything like an addiction or something lurid like that when someone's left out of a will. It may just be an estate planning sort of thing.

In legal terms, doesn’t “issue” refer to a beneficiary’s offspring ?

There are few things in life that hurt more than being the one left out of a parent’s will.
