I guess they watched Scarface a few times before building, just didn't quite have Tony Montana money.

I just looked again, and I do think that kitchen needs to be gutted, and possibly completely re-designed/expanded. For a flip at that price point, people want a large, modern kitchen.

Location on the lake is pretty damn unique.
Huge lot.
Very big and cool.
Also very outdated.

Like someone had a ton of money to spend 40 years ago and never had much after that.

I like it, warts and all.

Would be odd to be on the lake but have no water access or property rights.

We went to an estate sale there, that bathroom was the center of attention and not in a good way.

That’s a prime True Detective S4 filming location.

imo that has become less and less of a determiner

kind of... with properties flying off the market, if you see something that you really like, you better go claim it, because odds are, someone else has already made an offer... really desirable locations, especially here in BR, pretty much are sold the same day they are listed, often at asking price or above, and that's sort of across the spectrum of prices...

Absolutely! It's not often you find something you dont have to renovate.

Is the carpeting a practical joke?

I bet someone was murdered in that house. Just looks like a house that a murder in the 80s or 90s would have happened in.

The whole thing is pretty bad, but the laundry closet is the worst

No doubt some shady shite happened in that house back in the 70’s and 80’s.

I really love it. Notice, looks like pretty much zero landscaping in the front. Zero.

I don’t see one single element of the entire property that has been updated. That’s pretty crazy considering how relatively inexpensive some fixes can be.

I’m liking that carpet, especially on the world tub
