It looks like Jesse Duplantis' house (exterior).

When I first saw it that’s exactly what I thought

If any studios are looking to film any movies set in the 70’s/early 80’s in a large house then this is their spot. I actually feel sorry for the Realtor.

really not that bad, as long as it's structurally sound, wouldn't take a lot to bring it up to date

Tennis court? That is a strip center parking lot.

And the owner is in desperate need of bringing in a gay male realtor to "rescue" this listing by walking thru that place with his hands on his hips in disgust before calling in his sassy female partner with the British accent to come by and make snarky comments as they go to commercial as each of them glance into the bathroom covering their mouth's with their hands in shock.

Having just finished a higher end new build in December I disagree. That house probably needs $50k in a roof and $50 k in HVAC unit replacements. A house like that you can easily spend $150k in cabinets, appliances and countertops for the whole house.

I hear you, as I said, a lot depends on the structural condition, as far as flipping, you have to get it at the right price, have a plan and a budget, and stick to both, not trying to make it what I want to live in, just bring it back to the middle of the road and get it marketable

The vibe I get from the exterior is "regional bank headed for receivership."

What shitty general contractor designed this piece of shite? It looks like a Hilton Garden Inn in Boca.

If you're going to spend some serious money on a house, invest in a reputable architect.

at 1.5, if you can get them down to 1.25ish, then take the 250K you "saved" and put towards reno, you could easily put it back on the market and get 1.75 or more, if the market stays hot like it is now, netting you 250K, or more, in the process....

I like your thinking, curious as to what comps there are nearby, although, imo that has become less and less of a determiner

not necessary, baw, unless you're buying it to live in it and want to customize it, totally unnecessary if you're flipping
