yeah, that's what you meant....

the system of checks and balances that is used here is the only thing that separates us from the animals

edit: i should add i am TERRIBLY disappointed that there are no hanging beads on the doorway to the bathroom

Going to have to gut the whole damn thing. Probably another $500k at least to get it up to date. That doesn’t include furnishing it.

That's nowhere near Old Metairie.

depends on the quality of the construction, all of the tackiness you see is mainly cosmetic and relatively cheap to upgrade,

That was my thinking. I don't really see much in the pics that show it's in need of a complete gutting. The bathrooms do look pretty bad though, and counters, flooring, plumbing, etc. in bathrooms can quickly add up. I'd say $500k would easily get it modernized and looking really nice. Unless there are significant structural issues the pics don't show.

That's not old Metairie.

Is that Klein's (The Grinch) that lived next to Big Al Copeland?

I was looking at this on a Facebook page. That's some 70s gaudy shite there.

That house can be a movie set or it will need to be gutted to the studs. Good location. Ugly yard for Folse.

I thought Mistah Al lived more in the Transcontinental part of Metairie.

Kitchen and every bathroom. That's just insane. Old carpet too. I bet it has Beau coup mildew behind it.

1.5 million plus another million updating it and that house would be awesome.

It's probably worth repeating the little geography lesson here. I'm sure the real estate crowd would love to dilute the designation "Old Metairie" to the point of meaninglessness. There should probably be a committee of Karens established to fight that somehow.

I don't think you'd have to do that, if it's in good structural condition just bring the wall coverings, floors, plumbing fixtures and appliances up to date

Or how much male ejaculate has dribbled off a girl's arse onto that carpet as she gets up to clean herself off.

I'd leave it as-is and hire Isaac Washington to work that bar for me.
