Climate change is real and most rational people regardless of political affiliation believe in it. Where the two sides disagree is on the cause of climate change.

Correct. I am on the side that in the last 4,000,000,000 years the climate has changed tremendously in many directions, and the .1% of time human beings have existed in that 4,000,000,000 years has had no measurable impact whatsoever. I look for the next 100,000 years to be as equally insignificant.

You hit the nail on the head with that. MONEY is driving it!!

Is it ever not cold and wet for Louisiana winters?

In point of fact yes. We’ve had many winters where you could’ve gone to Christmas mass or New Year’s Eve gatherings in shorts and short sleeve shirts. I recall many winters here being more warm with occasional cool fronts than actually cold.
The most consistent aspect of our winters is that
Their usually wet.

Climate change is 100% a thing. The earth cycles and has had full on and mini ices ages. I don’t think we cause this, but we do depend on plastics and single use items waaaaay to much.

“Climate change is REAL hurrdurr”

No it’s not.

And as proof there are more trees on the earth today producing MORE OXYGEN and Ciphoning MORE CO2 from the atmosphere than at anytime in recorded history.

So farmers almanac is exact opposite of NOAA winter forecast for the south. Warmer than average and dry.

And the NOAA is just about as useful.....

Average high/Low winter temps in S. Louisiana-

Similar to a lot of areas in California, Texas, Arizona and Florida.

Relatively speaking, the winters here are considered mild comparatively with the rest of the country.

New Orleans 64/45
Jacksonville 66/46
Corpus Christie 62/48
Los Angeles 68/49
Phoenix 68/45
Las Vegas 58/39
