They've always made shitty beer.

Lower income rednecks can now finally admit it.

With all the good local/small business beer available pretty much everywhere now I don't see why anyone would choose to support them anyway.

my god, what a reprehensible, revolting company. didn’t think they could sink lower than back in 2019, but here we are. I was done with Busch when they pulled this bullshite:
quote:

“Carson King had multiple social media posts that do not align with our values as a brand or as a company and we will have no further association with him. We are honoring our commitment by donating more than $350,000 to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.”

yep, they cut ties with the Iowa State fan who helped raise ~$1.15MM for the Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City due to some tweets he made as a high school sophomore that quoted and referenced the show Tosh.0. absolutely fricking disgraceful imo

It is pretty amazing how much leftist elites control. Not saying they control 51% of these companies, but between media, big tech, ad firms, and then leftist hedge funds they control enough to dictate terms.

After Trump’s win in 2016 Leftists began creating their own back door to power - a sort of Corporatocratic Oligarchy.

It was obvious in summer 2020 with the complete bend over by corporations months after stock crash and still on going global shutdowns. Part of push was the carrot or stick approach that would also include helping companies over come any negative financial aspects of implementing woke policies, so I wondered if they could maintain throwing so much money to punish or support efforts.

Biden winning and Democrats controlling congress for 2 years with spending focuses and support for ESG has not only sustained their power but grown it.

Besides trans push with their choice being equal to biology (in early 2017 they were marching with vagina hats in support of women’s rights), on beer cans, and Trans mass shooter gets turned into victim we still have drag queens doing shows for kids in places and drag queen kids being pushed.

The highest selling beer in this country and no one on this board admits to drinking it.

OK.

It's not the 80s anymore. There are a lot of different beers on the shelves now and the whole craft/microbrew trend has really taken off. I live in a medium sized city and we have several microbreweries and that's where the beer drinkers go. Wine has made a comeback too and hard seltzers are all the rage.

Bud Light may still be #1 but their sales have been going down for a while now, especially amongst young drinkers.

That's why their recent marketing attempts are so stupid - you're pissing off the only dudes who still consume your product - the 50 year old baw with a gut who punches a timecard and spends his Saturday night guzzling down a dozen lukewarm bottles at the bar while some garage band plays classic rock covers on the stage. The kid who wears a scarf in summer and puts his pronouns on his social media was never going to drink your beer anyway.

They were tired of making money and decided it was time to completely alienate their target audience.

They also like to announce it so others can know what, and why they are boycotting something. It’s pretty much the essence of a boycott. Otherwise it would simply be called “privately not buying something”.
