They are real! They actually do exist and lived in the Shreveport area that I know of as recently as 2013.

I was personally involved in the care of one after an injury. The other waited in the reception area. Mother was really nice too and didn’t come off as ghetto at all, spoke more clearly and properly than probably 99% of the Shreveport metro area in fact. Kid was very well behaved and respectful while in considerable pain too.

But yeah, it was definitely an interesting time when the patient orders came off the printer. (that older computer check in and order input system took several minutes so orders would show up well before anyone/anything was ready for patient care contact)

My best friend in grade school's name was Supreme. He was a cool dude.
