mid 60's math computation progressed from paper/pencil to mech adder, to slide rule, to room size computers, to add/subtract calculators, to multiply/devide and scientific notation, used computer cards for input, terminals, first 256 desk computer, local networks, internet, telephone dial up interface, shift from analogue to digital, wifi, bluetooth etc.
