I don’t understand any glee over the oil industry’s hardships, especially while living in a state that’s so dependent on it doing well. Plus, people who have jobs in the oilfield, like everyone else, eat out, buy vehicles, buy houses, etc. that prospers others.

Because people are stupid and don’t realize how big of an impact oil has on the entire region

I hope this isn't a silly question, but is there any way to determine what sorts of vessels those are? What do the colors mean? Can the difference between an oil tanker, freighter, container or oil field service vessel be determined?
