Louisiana income is plus or minus $11 million per doller per barrel, in 2009.

Anyone know if that holds true in 2020?

Can I store 30K gallons in my pool? How many barrels is that? Will I get a letter from the HOA?

Then everyone will shut in for ninety days if they can under their leases. The moment the price gets postitive enough to cover LOE, they will produce again. There is going to be a cycle of downward pressure.

But I don't think it will last long. With no new drilling, the cruel decline curves of shale wells should hit within a year or so.

Long term, there is probably going to be some reservoir damage too.

We are going to get the shite taxed out of us in special sessions when this shite calms down.

I think all the state retirees pensions are guaranteed by the taxes from the citizens of LA.

How many times are you posting this idiocy? It isn’t nearly as funny as you think it is and makes you look idiotic.

I wish everyone well during this time. Things really suck for a lot of people right now and don't show any signs of getting better.

As someone who worked in the oilfield, albeit in the office, and still roots for the industry, this has 2 sides. Oilfield folks don't give a shite about non-oilfield people when gas is $3-4 a gallon.

Somewhere between 70-80 barrels

Can you fit the remaining 12k gallons in a couple bathtubs or something to fill your one contract?

Could add 50 cent tax to a gallon of gas and no one would notice.

Cost of Production per Barrel of Oil:
US 36.20 vs Russia $17.20 and Saudi Arabia $9.90

You can’t really compare production costs for private sector companies like ExxonMobil to national oil companies like Saudi Aramco. The Saudis’ entire national budget is effectively additional overhead for Aramco, which they can’t sustain at $9.90/bbl (even if they are still “profitable” on paper).

It’s an apples-to-oranges comparison between national oil companies and international oil companies. In fact, you can’t even really compare between the national companies. For example, Norway made the decision decades ago to view oil incomes as a windfall. Instead of funding their social programs directly from oil revenues, they invested and now have the world’s largest sovereign wealth fund. This means that Equinor (formerly Statoil), Norway’s national oil company, doesn’t face the same pressures as Aramco or Rosneft when prices are low.

Crazy question... Is there any way to pump Saudi's oil back down into our underground oil fields?

If so I'd be buying all I could get.
