Yeah. I’m way more concerned about this than the virus.

2016 and it only got to $26. Don’t think it’s been this low since 2002

Gas prices are already there...the gas stations are just screwing everyone.

Late 90s. Prior to that was the 1940s.

This is the only the 3rd time to be that low in 80 years

Dipped down to ~$26 back in early 2016. Last time it was below $20 was back in 1998, the lowest it got down to then was ~$13 - all adjusted for inflation of course.

It was 1.09 here when it got to 26 dollars bbl in 2016.

It’s stayed in 1.95 range here for the past 3 weeks. It’s fricking bullshite

You can’t use the price of oil to calculate gasoline, as they are separately traded commodities. But yeah, when oil is this low gas is super damn cheap. We are getting it from terminals and refineries for about that price right now. Highway diesel is about $1.60 . Stations aren’t close to that either

Yeah man it's all a conspiracy against you, you've finally figured it out. Who gives a frick about gas prices when you can't drive anywhere?

And the explanation is that it doesn't make sense to sell the product they already paid a higher price for at a lower price, once they work through what they already ordered/is in their tanks then they'll adjust the price for competitive purposes, not because they want to be nice to the American public. Oh and crude price only accounts for about 50% of the cost of a gallon of gas, the rest is taxes and fees...so thank your elected officials for that one.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Once all the shale players are bankrupt, we'll be back on the Saudi Arabian tit, they'll spike the price and all the retards who were cheering this on will be whining about it. And the cycle will start again.

Gas has been this low for over a week. The average gas station gets fuel every 3 days or less in bigger cities
