Wild idea, what if people capable of storing barrels in the US buy barrels of oil now @ current market price then when oil comes back, sell them back to the O&G companies. Like stock except less risky??

$19 is the April contract, $22-23 for May

Depends which site you’re looking at

WTI and Brent are different than crude oil futures

I want to say around 2015 or so it got low. Anyone recall when the last time it was sub $20?
Spring 1983 it dropped to $14.75 per barrel.

I had 1 quarter in pursuit of PE. Took Intro to PE Fall '82 at LaTech when it was $32/barrel. Spring '83 I was in the College of Business.

I’m aware. But when someone says, “oil is at 19 dollars a barrel”, that’s stating the price of oil. Not oil futures.

Yeah. I’m way more concerned about this than the virus

Yes. When people finally quit sky screaming and clutching pearls over the Kung Flu, they’re gonna notice the devastation done to our economy and they will really get sick.

The damage done to our economy is going to make them want to lick a Covid test swab when they finally realize what the hell is happening.

But hey, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
