I hate to start a law school post (OT ballers spare me), but I'm curious on thoughts and experience with potential scholarships from LSU law with my 165 LSAT and 3.87 GPA at LSU. (Tulane thoughts also welcome.)

When I finished my first BS, I went to my advisor and wanted to talk to him about law school since he had previously been a practicing attorney.
He looked me straight in the eye and said “law school is for all the rich kids who couldn’t get into med school” and pointed me in a different direction.

Ha, perhaps.
I’m old and have a family now, so taking on the expense of med school wasn’t within my capabilities financially.
Got my first BS in 2 years so I had 2 years left on my GI bill. Just enough time to complete my RN, so that made the choice easier. I still wonder if it was a mistake not going into law but that was the information I was given. I consulted with a few more attorneys since, and they’ve all discouraged going to law school so it is what it is.
