Yes I live at Wildwood and my appt was broken into saturday night. I went talk to the office and they said multiple apartments have been getting broken into. My wallet was one of the things stolen and they tried to spend 400$ at a Dollar General on Scenic Highway. I dont think that is just a random college students its POS thugs from NBR targeting us.

Also a few months ago, one of the guys I worked with was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of SouthGate apartments, like 50 yards away from my first floor balcony

Most of the cottages are being rented out by Souther students now. 5 or so years ago, when it was mostly LSU students, the few Southern students would have block parties with 300 or more people in the gates until the cops would run them off. Then two Southern students get in a shootout in the parking lot last year.
It is all the trash that has been brought along that is committing these crimes.

Why would southern students want to live there? It’s gotta be a 20-30 minute commute without counting for rush hour traffic to their campus.

The Cottages started to become sketch in the spring of ‘14. I dated a girl that lived there. As soon as they lifted the rule of college aged students at LSU or SU. They got all the sketchy folks in town.
It also didn’t help that the complex has damn near changed management every year. I want to say around the Fall of 2015. One of their managers got drunk in tigerland and flipped his truck right where Ben Hur meets Nicholson Dr.

They were called "kickbacks"
The guy who threw those parties was my (random) roommate. He was actually an LSU student.
I still have tons of pictures from the one with hundreds of people just standing on the streets of the complex. Our cottages was a mess the next day.
