Elon also was one of the original investors and got bored with the progress, so I’m not sure how much of his criticism is worth listening to.
OpenAI can absolutely be an issue, though. Whatever you put in there is legally theirs per their T and Cs. Companies have unloaded everything and now people’s SSN and other info is part of the data OpenAI has access to
