What is the OT's opinion of these guys? Heroes or hacks?
Is it mildly pathetic that their entire existence is crafted around attempting to pick up women?
Most of them are not overtly masculine or alpha and probably would do just as well at picking up women if they were more physically appealing, wealthy, etc.

As long as you're a 6 or higher, confidence and humor are what works the best.

I have read the book. Neil Straus claims he bagged Brittany Spears. They do have some interesting concepts and lines that are worthy. One concept is to comment on a negative aspect of an attractive woman or only pay attention to her no so hot friend.

appearance counts a lot, but money makes up for nearly anything if its enough money.
obviously there is an X/Y axis and if you are to the left of the line in appearance, you better be way up the axis of money.
You can get much much more pussy being way to the right ++ side of the appearance line, in facial and body (and 8"+ long and the size around of a flashlight) but its not likely to be enough for a lasting live in relationship if you are below the money line.
