I added to my church’s total by one. Unless I get bonus points for the bama logo.

We ended up going only for Sunday School today. The reason is we had a big family Easter Sunday lunch at my MIL’s house and my wife had to get there by 12 to make the peach cobbler. The reason we didn’t stay for service is it normally last until about 11:30, leaving plenty of time to get to my MIL’s house by 12. Our service is usually the same format:
Welcome music (piano playing)
2 old time hymns
Offering
2 contemporary songs
Message
Invitation
But when I got the church bulletin this morning I was we were doing:
Welcome music
Baptism (three people)
traditional hymns (x2)
Children’s Choir (x2)
Offering
Adult Choir Special (x4)
Message
Invitation
Lord’s Supper
We’d have been there until almost 1. Not sure it’s a good idea to do all this on the one or two times a year some people come to church. Might turn them off for it to go that long.
