Why no curfew tonight? We have them all the time after storms. Also, why not put out an emergency ordinance against wearing masks? It's obvious those guys/gals wearing them have something in mind..

Honestly, what happened had to happen.
If they as cops or law enforcement, in any way, tried to restrict freedom of speech they would have been portrayed as the bad guys again.
However, by allowing these ignorant, selfish, pieces of shite to destroy their own community with no regard for their fellow man, the cops look a lot less like the bad guys. What these violent protesters did was incredibly counter productive to their "stated" goal.

Exactly. There is no reason for anybody, not working, to be out after dark. Set a time, 7pm?, then clear the streets. Protestors can march around during the day. They should understand that the citizens want peace at night. It's for everybody's best interest. Something bad is going to happen one night when some idiot or group of them tries to mess with a group of national guardsmen..
