Just for the lack of respect, he deserved to be slammed
They dont call it authority for nothing.
These days, we need more people getting slammed

Social workers are people too.
Can Ms Jenkins with Child Protective Sevices beat somebody’s arse when he goes into a manic state or starts cussing her out? Because this post and the one you made before it seem to indicate this is what you’re arguing for.

I'm not defending the arse kicking he received, but I'm not believing he had xray documentation showing foreign body in his abdomen (that he claims to be drugs) and was still cleared and discharged to police custody. That would have to be the most incompetent E.R. doctor on earth, with zero awareness for malpractice and liability. More likely he is a methhead spouting off nonsense that xray disproved.
And frick that cop.
And frick that cop.

Why do you think that this is ok or will not result in some kind of reaction? Would you do this to anyone else and not expect something to happen
You expect average Joe to forget about freedom of speech and react emotionally.
We don’t expect cops to take the bait. In fact, they are trained not to.
If you are prone to respond to stress emotionally, you’re not cut out to be a cop. The moment you respond emotionally is when tunnel vision kicks in. It renders you incapable of properly assessing your environment.

Police are trained on lower levels of force. There are pain compliance techniques which can stimulate various nerves that are recommended for “passive resistance”
Slamming a door against someone’s head (it doesn’t look as bad in the video as those words sound) is not an approved use of force technique.

Slamming his head in the door is excessive, but lol at thinking pressure points are going to work on a dude trying to kill himself high on fentanyl.

Turn up the volume on your device and listen again. Do you hear “Ow”? If not, turn it up higher. The dude felt baton compression into his torso. And he responded appropriately.

2” flutter punches?
Nudged him with his elbow?
You’re a dumbass, and apologists like you are why bad cops exist.

Yeah, a couple punches and people’s elbows will fix it all.

Well done officer! That's a textbook arrest right there.

Would anyone have really cared if he let the guy kill himself?

F all that. If you can't do it, then don't judge those thst do. Or maybe be a bit emphatic The abuse against cops is unreal and the expectations are not realistic.
In the 1st video, what should he have done? The guy is trying to kill himself. He has to go hands on. The prisoner is going through a manic phase. He hit him with a string of 2 inch flutter punches and nudged him with his elbow. He has to hit him. Otherwise, what? Wrestle with him?
I've seen the 2nd video before. Those kids had it coming, all of them. They interfered, would not leave, then became verbally abusive. In my world, when you step to someone and challenge them, you have to expect a reaction. Why do people believe that they can curse out, insult and threaten cops?
Must be a cop
Imagine someone doing these things to a police officer. They may just catch some charges. What if a non police officer did this this to another citizen, maybe they get charged too?
However if a officer abuses his power and hurts someone, a 2nd time he gets fired? Why the double standard why is the cop not arrested?
Empathy? My Empathy is with the victim of police brutality here.
If you can't do the job without being abusive nd handle words from people in custody maybe find another job

Exactly. Carry on when someone hits you with the ole verbal hate crime.
Are you really advocating violence if someone gets called a bad word?
