What crime is taking place here?
Not what I asked, nor implied.
If you don't want to answer, that's fine. I already know.

They're dumb and never have touched an AR in their lives.
I like to ask them about their credentials- as in what makes them qualified to advise others on what type of firearms fit their home defense requirements. Because no serious firearms trainer would dismiss the AR platform.
"I hate guns and the second amendment needs to go" do not meet those requirements- and neither does being a politician.

at least gun regulations have an actual reason behind them
Yeah? Let's hear you say it.

If and only if it’s free. Nothing pisses me off more than paying $100 for a CCL class, $50 in ammo, and then $150 to the state for a license. Still F them, but if they insist, it better be free.

Or you know properly fund it so it actually works instead of making cuts to the funding consistently

We have plenty of gun laws now. Doesn't seem to be helping.
Doesn't take an "expert" to see this.

Start teaching gun safety in school again

Hell we can’t get kids hunting licenses because lack of hunter education classes odd isn’t it.

No we don't. You are only required to have a license to operate a vehicle on public roads. I grew up driving with my friend in his dad's old pickup on the farm starting at age 12
So we will just require training g if you have to travel on a public highway to get to a gun store or have a gun delivered. What a comical response.

I do. It's infringement.
So is age restriction or even taxing the purchase of a gun. In fact, why shouldn’t the government just hand out guns to kindergarteners and two year olds. Some infringement is necessary for you and your militia. Hunters have to go through training, why is some moderate level of training a bad thing?
Trump laid the groundwork with his ridiculous bump stock ban by wxecutive order. Gun restrictions are coming and they are largely a direct result of people with your thinking who have been unwilling to concede anything on the issue. Now we are about to get steamrolled.

Shocking I know if you put insufficient money into something it tends to not work properly
Leftists blame all their failures on a lack of funding which is blatantly false.
