The real epidemic is you fat shamers. Science has proven that fat shaming causes cortisol which causes unhealthy ness

It’s not the weight that’s bad

You aren't wrong, but please go back to Europe.

It is common for them to visit their local farmer’s market every Saturday and get food they will prepare for the week. Unless you live in an upscale neighborhood (like me) then you likely don’t have that option here in America.

Yes...groceries stores filled with fresh produce and meats/fish are a rarity around these parts. Must be nice to live in an upscale area with food.

I honestly pity these people

So much that you need to get on a random message board and anonymously complain about. How about letting one of these hefty baws know your feelings in person. Then go ahead and post an update.

How many of you baws are with women with a BMI over 25%?

An epidemic would imply it is an infectious disease. Obesity is 100% controlled by the person.

Nuh uh! I have a thyroid condition. I retain a lot of water. My bones are more dense than the average persons.

No. It's probably just because everyone is out to get you.

Have a nice day!

BMI is a worthless stat. But yes. Its amazing that lines for Chick Fil A and Popeyes are wrapped into the street.

I can’t fathom not caring about your health and getting to the point where you have to guzzle pills every morning or stick yourself with insulin

You're my hero. I'd like to do your routine but I'm too fat and out of shape to even start. But it hurts my heart that there are people out there like you that judge people like me. I promise I'm a good guy!

Obesity isn't infectious, so its not an epidemic. Mind, we've gotten so horseshite with policing the use of the term that it hardly matters, but it isn't an epidemic. Its rampant, its prevalent, it is out of control-- but it isn't infectious.

90% is. Others have thyroid issues and other health concerns that contribute to obesity.

Anti-depressants and the like frick a persons metabolism up.

But on the whole America is a country of fat asses compared to Europe. Fat camp fat asses.

Causes are manifold though.

Chronically overworked = little time/energy to cook healthy foods all the time over convenience.

Poor nutrition education on the whole but particularly in low income areas.

Lack of access to healthy foods v cheap fast food. Again in predominantly minority areas.

There are more. But these are key.

Also, this fits in with education but... fat fricks not matching their food intake to their basal metabolic rates and the number of calories they need to simply maintain appropriate weights.

One stupid fricking fat arse meal at a fast food place puts you over in daily fat, salt, and sugar numbers and make up half or over in the calories you’d need in a day.

As it has been for a while now. You're not making any Earth shattering observations.

Having lived in Europe, I'm sure you recognize that life there is very different and most people don't work 50-60 hour weeks. They have time to prepare food and take care of themselves.

You honestly can't compare how Americans eat and live with how the majority of Western Europe eats/lives.

It is an epidemic. When 1 out of 3 people, weighs as much as the 2, it's a YUGE problem

frick that.

Enabling poor behavior by ignoring it or even worse celebrating it is how you end up with a nation of fat fricking sacks of shite.

It's like the fricking EBT card. Hiding the shame of food stamps and now there's like 3 times the number of people on food assistance as there was before the EBT card.

The guy in the WH is a bad example, that's for sure, you can tell he likes McDonald's and all the other shite food.

I mean hell, he serves fast food at championship gatherings, no wonder nobody wants to go there. Again, setting a horrible example.

Gross!!
