Except one side it is mainstream. The current Republican electorate is basically to the left of 2008 Obama. I will not accept this argument because it isn’t true. One side has gotten more radical and violent.

He wanted attention and we can give it to him by public execution.

Apparently these kids are being radicalized in college. Its something we need to look at and deal with.
Its more the internet than college. There were plenty of college students supporting kirk that day.

Neither you nor I know what radicalized this dude.
But when so many kids grow up normal, go to college and suddenly think words are violence, there is a systematic problem.

Yup. House is worth 634k and was listed (not sold) for 289k in 2017, so prices have definitely jumped.

I don’t necessarily disagree, but given the vitriol that’s been spewed in the last 48 hours from people in academia over Kirk’s death, I don’t think it’s fair to rule it out.

And so many don’t. We have to remember that but agree with your point.

I of course disagree with every part of celebrating this type of thing, either side but creates a confounding question on words and free speech.
Where does it start and end for either side?
Not sure I know the answer.

Utah housing has gone absolutely nuts since 2020

It was like 150-200 yds from an elevated position at a completely stationary target. A ten year old girl could make that shot with iron sights after about 15 minutes of teaching

I lean more on social media radicalizing folks then schools. It's easy to get into an echo chamber and think that's the norm in society. Reddit, Twitter/X, etc. I'll be interested in seeing how things swing with states and school districts starting to ban cellphone usage in schools and people are actually forced into socializing like normal human beings again.

Hell no.
You could say they are in line with 1992 Clinton, but the current republican electorate is not in favor of universal healthcare, closing Guantanamo, assault weapon bans, investing in green energy, raising taxes, expanding the EITC, expanding the DOE, subsidies for fuel efficient cars, increasing abortion access, increasing the federal minimum wage, etc, etc, etc.

You've also had a shift or fracture on the conservative side as well. Just look at how folks are currently raging against Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) for simply stating that we should follow the Constitution. Dude is a legit, dyed in the wool Constitutional Conservative and he's even getting shelled.

Sure, conservatives disagree with each other sometimes. That’s a healthy debate.
But let’s not pretend that internal arguments about Thomas Massie remotely compare to one side cheering the assassination of a political commentator.
A disagreement over how to apply the Constitution isn’t the same as celebrating political violence. Trying to conflate the two is just another lazy attempt to minimize what actually happened: a Christian, Conservative, Father and Husband was brutally executed for sitting down at a table and inviting those who have different views than him to discuss those views.

He started receiving death threats over it, especially after he started pushing for the Epstein Files to come to light. No, it hasn't been "healthy debate". He's been openly threatened to be primaried (which is laughable because he's absolutely LOVED here in Kentucky). Again, there are extremists on both sides of this.

Nowhere have I minimized what happened. You're putting words in my mouth for your own agenda.

Definitely radicalized by the hard right
