re: NY Times reporter accuses white women of racism on city sidewalks

White women can be awful, no doubt

But I don't think black America wants a national conversation about the rudest group of people, do they? Because there is no contest for #1.

What is the NYT doing!? Did they run this by the Democrats first? They're allowing one "victim" group (black people) to attack another "victim" group (women). I would imagine that a lot of white women won't be too happy with this accusation that THEY are racist. By the way, that particular group of people (white women) is the largest demographic in the US. You may not want to turn them against you. If the offending group were white men, then everyone would just say: "Well of course. White men are inherently racist by default."

These idiots such as the reporter are either too arrogant or too stupid to realize what a story like this does. In his own self-aggrandizing world he thinks this story is going to bring about a "necessary change", when in fact, all it's going to do is piss white women off and make someone who isn't racist, defensive.

If you are constantly being accused of something that isn't true, then eventually you are going to say "frick you" and develop a prejudice that was never there to start with.

I like the concept of the "is it racist" column

There is a black dude complaining about not getting chips at a Mexican restaurant, for frick's sake.

Someone write one about getting your car broken into, let's take this up a notch

My favorite frick you to the public that I began seeing in my undergrad days were black kids in the library singing out loud, playing music with no headphones on study floors and leaving behind McDonald's feasts on tables and desks.

I experience this outcome everyday.

One of the best groups I deal with are the inner city school kids. They are usually the ones to say hello and stop doing their preteen shenanigans while walking by.
