Again, seems odd to use a toddler on an interstate in a rather heavily populated area to catch a rape victim.

It could have just been a midget dressed as a kid. I’m 75% serious.

But still, the odds of a defenseless female being the one to stop isn’t all that high. It’s a really strange case.

I'd say it's not unlikely that a woman that sees an unattended toddler walking alone would stop to try and help. Women can be gullible (mind blowing I know) when it comes to helping others. A nurse who's profession is almost entirely based on helping others in need makes this scenario even more plausible.

Maybe it was a really shitty meth head parent that then didn't want to be reported and killed the woman before she could.

Horrible situation. Hope she is found and alive, healthy. My first thought was the old Dave Chappelle joke about the baby selling weed in the hood.

Sometimes being fat is a legit weapon against kidnapping and quite effective.

My dad came across a toddler roaming unattended just a couple months ago. Challenge level: they live 5 miles from nearest other human, and down a dirt road, off a county paved road.

Kid was too young to identify herself, he picked her up and got her water and started calling around. They found out who it belonged to, I need to find out if the sheriff ended up doing anything about it.

Unfrickingbelievable, but kids are slippery I guess. But to book it 5 miles? Hmmm.

From the article it sounds as though this is the 2nd woman to go missing after seeing a lone toddler walking the interstate.

When I was about three years old I followed a stray dog until I got caught in some underbrush behind somebody's house. Lady heard me crying and figured out who I belonged to.

Did she? Or did she just carry you to some random house? Do you really know that the people you called your parents are really your true parents?

Plot twist: it’s a midget as the bait.

Really bad.

So sad that a good deed went so wrong for a person who had good intentions.

I was listening to a podcast and another woman described how she was down a rural road and she thought she saw a baby crawling in the road. When she stopped she saw it was a realistic looking doll that someone was pulling from a fishing line leading to the woods.

They still have not found her at 6:00 PM tonight.

I live about 40 miles from there and she is all over the news.

Sad to say, this kind of thing seems to end up with a body found. There are a lot of predators out there.
