Nothing happens on the Tuesday night before Thanksgiving.
I don't know man. Tuesday and Wednesday nights before the holiday are usually pretty wild in the local Mexican restaurants. frick up family members in from out of town and no one wants to cook or wash dishes because they know what's waiting for them on Thursday. Table for a dozen at Mi Toro y Pueblo Los Cabos Su Casa with the Margaritas and Tequila shots flowing ?!! It can turn into a great night of people watching even if you aren't a people watcher. A skank family member can't hook up with/get in a fist fight with another skank family member leading up to Thanksgiving unless you're still leading up to Thanksgiving.

Why you calling her trash for drinking and enjoying the holiday when you just said you plan on being drunk yourself tomorrow? Drinking is drinking.

A little early drama. My wife and I will spend Thanksgiving with just us two, the way we like it. This year she ordered the Thanksgiving feast from Sonny's bbq so she wouldn't have to cook, good for her. I was sent down to pick up said feast earlier today. Three heavy large bags of prepared food. Probably enough to feed eight. I get home and there is no way it all fits in the fridge. Ended up placing several containers in the freezer. We have enough banana pudding to keep the local elementary kids happy. Enough ham to feed the local high school football team. So bring your yapping dog and the ultra liberal SIL, I hate to throw away food. Don't know how we will eat half of this. Anyone hungry? That's all I got.

Nothing too specific we just always go out to eat the night before Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve Eve and my kids and wife like Mexican. I can remember a few heated arguments going on a table over or two the past couple years and you can tell by the way they dress differently or the different dialects that family is in from out of town. And it's not like an every year thing but if I still lived in my small hometown I think it could be. I'm not much of a people watcher myself but man it's hard to mind your own business when white trash gets to drinking too much and acting up.

Well. I just took the turkey out the refrigerator to start the brine process. How about this son of a bitch is still frozen solid. It's been in there since Sunday morning.

What type of oil?

I believe Virgin peanut oil will be best.

10w 40 works best in a pinch.

Since my alzheimer's mother and conspiracy theory cousin have died, the last few thanksgiving's have been completely boring.
But this year has a plot twist! We may or may not bring my invalid brother in law (car accident) who is temporarily living with us, hoop earrings and punk rock everything, wheel him over to my aunt and uncle's house, and insert him into their turbo-christian dry Thanksgiving.
Additionally, my dad has a new girlfriend he's bringing.
There's some potential.

Both my side and my girlfriends side have been hinting/pushing to drop by tomorrow/this weekend. We both said f that, so we are flying out to Perth and spending the next 2 weeks on the beach. Her side is bat crap crazy and mine are entitled leeches.

Re-aim your security cameras before this happens. We would love to watch it go down.

I’ve got plenty of peanut oil, but I don’t believe it’s a virgin. Definitely a bit used up. Warming up the oil now, how long to soak a 90% frozen bird so it’ll be thawed for tomorrow?

If you don't follow instructions, I'll not be responsible.

The kid could have set up shop at the shadow line, been able to talk to the two in the back and still be a safe distance away.. Considering they were outside, there was probably no reason for them to distance.
