Woke up with an allergic reaction to the overnight gel eye drops I started using last week. Swollen eyes and super red/itchy.

No drama besides too much food, as usual. Now storing the leftover food in an ice chest with frozen gallon jugs. Internal family only. Fried a 12.5 pound turkey and half of the bird is still there.

One of the folks staying with us asked this morning if we had a bathroom “that wasn’t right off the kitchen.” So apparently the half-bath isn’t good enough. Now the wife wants the master bathroom open for everyone later today. Is nothing sacred? This should go well with 20+ people in the house…

My brother’s FIL always drops a deuce 10 minutes after thanksgiving meal, 15 years straight. Bathroom is right off the kitchen, 3 feet. Everyone knows and waits for the move and as we help clean up in kitchen. It's a Thanksgiving tradition and he’s in late 80’s, the last of our immediate family’s parents, soon that tradition will pass.

Same - but the scary thing is all it takes for a parent or another close relative to do it...

Offshore food update. Prime rib, shrimp and grits for supper. More desserts.

At home, my son has started hunting by himself. He’s staying with my in-laws tonight because it’s right by the hunting. His friend will be a few hundred yards away in another box blind. Hopefully they double up!

As soon as I stored away the food my 2 boys asked to eat. I’m like what? They say “yes sir, dinner.”

My normal Systane drops are preservative free. Their gel drops don’t come in PF, but I didn’t expect them to give me a full on reaction and was hoping to avoid having to use the ointment. They do have a nighttime ointment that’s preservative free so I may give that a shot down the road.

Appreciate the suggestion.

Well, I will add a little spice this year. My wife’s(our) trailer park trash niece who is mid thirties, has three kids with three different dudes-only married once, first kid at 16, pill addict, first kid lives with Grandma, Etc.
Well come to find out the first kid, who is 18 has turned into a hoe bag around town and niece is drinking, screwing anything and Niece is wondering how this happened.
The table talk this year is going great, LOL.
It’s going to get better if she keeps on and I have to tell her that she was the town pin cushion when she was young and has been a terrible example for her kids.

Well I’ll jump in. Uncle announced to the family at dinner tonight that he has a 40 year old previously unknown about child. Found him through 23 and me or some shite. Happy Thanksgiving.

Got a new cousin that way a few years ago. Uncle isn’t alive to tell the tale but the age of my cousin line up before the marriage with my aunt so no hard feelings.
