Well the chinet was a massive success. Son new girlfriend is kind of uppity. Dad has yet to throw out any racist comments. So far low key successful day.

Light mood at my momenems today. Only real issue we had was when mom spent 30 minutes trying to convince me and my wife that my 1st cousin is not a bad mother for completely abandoning her special needs teenage daughter and her husband of nearly 20 years for a slew of new frick buddys from Baton Rouge to Navarre beach. She’s somehow the victim here and the former husband was mentally abusive or something. It’s quite bizarre how completely irrational the concept was to me. I suggested she change the topic a few times and when she wouldn’t I explained how the dirty whore doesn’t deserve any sympathy leaving my pop almost in tears laughing at us. Good times!

We still haven’t dished up yet. shite is going to be cold and dry as hell.

The ladies been enjoying their drinks so they don’t GAS when we eat - the only positive so far is the wives all tipsy on their lemon mimosa plus gin drinks.

About to serve apparently. Will update on how much I feed their dog under the table like my 11 year old

I don't keep up with nfl. But today I decide to catch up. Watch an entire game not realizing it was a replay from last year. And half of a bengals game from last year.

About 5 minutes before Thanksgiving meal was served, my 6 year old son runs in the house, purple faced, gagging and saying he ate a plant from outside.

Some poisonous (the wife says) elephant ear looking plant from Pops’ garden that he decided he wanted to try. After a couple pukes and glasses of water and all the moms in the house freaking out, we enjoyed a calm, delicious Thanksgiving meal.

This kid never tries anything but decides to chomp a decorative plant from the backyard at the perfect time

Mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole made the little guy feel better.

Turkey is dry as shite. The dark meat with skin is fine, so went heavy on that.

NGL I did a double take when I saw games on NFL Network. Had to check espn for which channels games were on.

So we’re out here in the middle of nowhere Arkansas and my 80+ year old grandmother just shared this with the entire group of 20 of us or so -

“We actually got a new man that brings our Amazon packages up to the house. He’s black and NONE of our packages have come up missing. Can you believe that?”

My cousin who is super liberal and is dating a black guy did not think it was funny at all. Luckily her boyfriend is not here.
