One of the folks staying with us asked this morning if we had a bathroom “that wasn’t right off the kitchen.” So apparently the half-bath isn’t good enough. Now the wife wants the master bathroom open for everyone later today. Is nothing sacred? This should go well with 20+ people in the house…

Decided to not go to my family dinner this year because in laws are always less drama. MIL decided to invite everyone for dinner at 6 last night. Sent the invite at 4:30 and got all mad because everyone already had other plans. Dinner is at 6 at her house tonight so we will see if she complains. She is Italian. She will complain

Had an eventful morning so far. Woke up with an allergic reaction to the overnight gel eye drops I started using last week. Swollen eyes and super red/itchy. Had to drive to a couple different stores to get the antihistamine drops since two were closed this AM. Swelling has gone done and eyes are clearing up.

Hopefully that’s as eventful as it gets for me but my family’s trashy so probably not.

I'm offshore boys. Private equity is a big shareholder in both the offshore company, as well the food caterer. No one is expecting much. I don't really care about being gone for Thanksgiving. Family issues are wack.

ETA, BIL just called asking if I had a full propane can.

I have a cousin with a small bathroom directly off the kitchen/living room and I think it's a little awkward with a big group if someone spends ten minutes in there laying down a growler.

I mean...the dude probably had to take a massive dump and was trying to be polite by not doing it that close to the food and other guests. Honestly I'd appreciate that.

I’ve taken my nephew on vacation before. Not because my sister is a loser but because I wanted to and I love him.

My son has to work today so we will see him and his wife tomorrow for leftovers. My mom is a little peeved but I told her months ago to not expect a 1st year resident to get holidays off.

Yeah. This is the first year I think everyone who is normally working the holiday is officially off in my family. Lots of blue collar baws for us.

Fiancé was on some later calls this week, so hoping he doesn’t get a call for one today.

No drama as it’s only my household family. My oldest daughter (no pics) is playing college basketball in the Virgin Islands @ 1130. Will watch her on ESPN+. Just dropped the turkey in the oil.

Just ran as many as my oldest would tolerate in the double stroller to avoid my MIL coming about bizarre and unnecessary tasks for me

They opted to sleep outside in their car. No drama yet

If you're in Kentucky as your profile says, it was likely below 25 degrees outside last night. The drama is already there, you just don't realize it yet.
