Their opinions change as much as the opinion if eggs are healthy for you or not

The CDC is a joke at this point and I don’t know if they will ever recover the faith of the Normal American people

The one posted on the poli board was under guidance for healthcare workers & not the general public if I looked at it right

ETA
I think it’s for anyone but not sure why it says healthcare workers at top

Why can’t the govt figure out how to put out an easy to use, clear format?

Give the blue-check mark outrage police enough time to scream, and they'll change the recommendation again.

The response has not been driven by science, it has been driven by panic.

Did I see correctly that they're now hammering Trump for touting convalescent plasma as a beneficial treatment when it might not be as good as thought, but this is after weeks and months of plasma being praised by the media at times?

A disease that disproportionately affects the morbidly obese. Government: Let's give out free McDonald's to bribe people to get tested.

Just b/c this keeps being repeated doesn't make it true.

Underlying Conditions in deaths in Louisiana
56.14% Hypertension
34.04% Diabetes
20.51% Cardiac Disease
19.30% Chronic Kidney Disease
18.06% Obesity
LINK

Yes, obesity makes a difference, but this board has everyone believing it's only old and fat people affected.

This is a huge first step towards returning to normalcy. Mass testing of healthy, zero-risk populations is 19th century pseudoscience.

Hypertension, diabetes, cardiac disease, chronic kidney disease, are primarily caused by obesity. Type 2 diabetes in a person with a 25 BMI would be insanely rare.

Also, hypertension is practically normal in people above age 70. A mass of humans living past 75 is new to humanity, we were not meant to live much longer than 75.

Houston mayor Sly Turner begging people to get tested lately. The numbers must be really low/better they can't spread fear anymore

It absolutely is true for those that arent elderly. The elderly, who make up the majority of cases, arent usually obese so that skews the data for everyone else.

Three main groups have to worry about this virus

Those over 70

Those morbidly obese

Those with very poor health

Because it is mostly old and fat people. Since those people are far more likely to have the issues you listed.

To put it another way, the older and fatter you get, the more likely you are to have those comorbidities. You are fine if you’re a healthy person. And, amazingly, this is true for any illness. You are more likely to die from ANY illness if you are old and/or fat. Crazy, I know.

Covid isn’t nearly as special as you were manipulated to believe.

What do you think causes those underlying conditions?
