The new Honda rebel specifically targets millenials.

Indeed it does. They’re doing this in an effort to capture demographic. Younger guys are not buying motorcycles for the most part. So the motorcycle companies, even Harely, is putting out models specifically targeted at younger riders.

Harely has introduced both a 500 & 750 to go after that market.

He’s free to call himself whatever he wants. It’s no concern of mine.

Well, you've told me guys who ride Japanese crotch rockets can't be "bikers", so I was just wondering where someone riding one of these would fit in your mind with regard to such classifications.

Are guys on crotch rockets bikers in my eyes? No. Their motorcycle riders. But I never said they can’t call themselves whatever they want. Doesn’t mean that’s what they’ll be in my eyes. But they can still call themselves whatever they want.

I’m heading to the Dr. I’ll explain in a bit when I get time. I imagine I’ll have plenty of time in the waiting room.

And then there’s the fact the person on the bike is dressed in what is widely regarded as being the “hipster” style.

That bike and outfit are pulled out of the 1940s and 1950s. Based on the replies in this thread, it seems like it's a popular looking bike for people who aren't hipsters. I think you misunderstood the target market, but you could be right.

It's funny how that look 60 years ago was the coolest thing going, but now people act like it wasn't.

I actually like they way those look. Most motorcycles are either way too big or crotch-rockets. This seems like a good bike for driving around town. Not to mention they start at $895.

Edit: oops totally missed the $895 is the deposit. Starts around $7k. I was wondering how they were making money lol.

Here is my take:

It is a neat looking little bike.

It has a 5 speed transmission and weighs less than 300 pounds. I think it would be a blast to ride around on short trips here and there. I wouldn't mind riding one on my 10 mile ride to work each morning.

Why do you go out of your way to make yourself feel better about you judging other people? Clearly you harbor bias about certain riders on what you call them. Of course people can call themselves whatever they want, this is a free country, why would you even need to explain that? It's not like you can do anything about it. Just spit out your feelings on the subject.

I did spell out my feelings. You just refuse to accept them. That’s s you problem, not a we problem.
