If you judge someone because of what bike they’re on or what they’re wearing, that’s on you, not me.

Says this in the same thread titled this:

And yes, I have no issues judging people by their motorcycle. If I see someone riding around in the mountains with an extended swingarm, I will know a lot about that person. They don't have a properly kitted bike for this type of riding and they are most likely not from around here.

I didn’t judge anything. You did. You judged me. All I did was post this because I found it funny and interesting a company is making retro motorcycles targeted at hipsters.

I hope you are trolling, because it is a good shiny hook. Your title is judging people by calling someone a hipster.

Judging? How is that judging them? Don’t they call themselves hipsters? Is there another name they prefer to go by?

Serious price tag on such a small cc output. It's only a 250cc single piston engine and it costs $6995 plus a $700 delivery fee from what I read.

That's $7695 before TT&L out the door. Hell, you can buy a Kawasaki 900cc Vulcan V-Twin for $7995 plus TT&L.

I kind of like the retro styling, but the price is way too much for what they are offering.

Yep, trolling nice one. No one is dumb enough to think people call themselves hipsters. That's all negative connotation these days.

Well the term “biker” is seen negatively here. I’m still a biker though. Or is it alright to insult some groups but not others?

I don't care who you insult, I already said I am judgey as frick.

I don't wave at scooter trash. Some of those bastards are getting tricky with their designs though. And I don't wave in the mountains to anyone, that's riding time not putt around time.

What is funny and interesting about it? What makes you think hipsters are the target demo?

Could some guy riding one of those call himself a "biker"?

Well the bike is retro looking, which is what Hipsters like. And then there’s the fact the person on the bike is dressed in what is widely regarded as being the “hipster” style.

Look, if hipsters want to ride. I say good for them. Does their style look funny to me? Sure it does. Does that make me look down on them or somehow dislike them? No, it at all. It seems many here are so highly judgmental that they project their own judgmentalism in others. I find that kinda sad.

He’s free to call himself whatever he wants. It’s no concern of mine.
