Like graphs and weather man.

I'd be looking at this stuff anyway, so I'm just sharing now because people have stakes in it.

Fox 8 just gave the best forecast I’ve seen for Endymion. Spotty rain on Saturday afternoon, could have showers, not sure yet, worst rain could be north abd west of us

In 1899 there was 3 inches of snow on the ground on Mardi Gras day but the streets were cleared and the Rex Parade rolled on as usual. As a rider on the Pontchartrain Beach float I say let's not worry about a little rain. Let's ride.

We got this brother

I think we start a little later, 5/6 and make it to the dome fairly dry.

The crowds will be there, regardless.

If you rode in 2011, you remember the terrible rain all day and as Breck predicted it would stop at the start. I don’t see this Saturday being nearly as bad as that.

Hail Endymion

This morning fox 8 was calling for dry spots around 4pm Saturday. Models show it might be North of New Orleans during Endymion.
It all depends on how fast the low moves.
It’s still sketchy, but looking better for us with Endymion.

I’m no Duke, though. Let him give the real update

The highest % that weather underground has, it 73% at 11PM. We will be in the dome by then. Positive vibes for good weather. Hoping the best for all riders.

I’ll feel better when Duke makes his final prediction today.

He’s been pretty spot on. Said we were going to roll and be okay all week, so we’ll see.

I know you’re being sarcastic but I’d love a report from Duke about Sunday. I don’t take it as gospel but it’s a lot of information as the forecasts keep changjng

No, I’m actually being serious. I like Duke. He’s been pretty accurate and encouraging.
I’m waiting for his update as well.

Just bought a pair of shrimper boots and big ziploc bags for dry clothes and costume pants

So I’ll be about as ready as I can
