I feel like it’s foing to stall and we will have some light rain at worst of those two days. I have no knowledge of weather like Duke just positive vibes. We can will it to happen, right?

Just checked weather underground, which is my go to, the highest rain chance is at 8 am, I’ll take it. Still shows rain all day, but % is lower

The NWS in Slidell pumped positive vibes your way this morning I. Their discussion.
Basically yes it will rain off and on alot, but expecting an inch a day which is very manageable with no particular period being of higher concern. I'll note that at least the GFS has been consistent moving some heavier rain in Saturday night, it hasn't been exact on the timing and has left the heaviest stuff north and west of the lake.
All the parades run if the projections are correct.

I haven't done NOLA MG in a few years but have some friends coming in from Florida for it so we got a place near Cooter Browns. How hard do yall think it will be to get an uber to Mid City Saturday for Endymion assuming it rolls as planned?

Getting THERE shouldn't be much problem. Getting OUT may be the issue.

Depends on when you go. I tried getting one last year after Tucks and it was a nightmare. We ended up walking the three miles to get to our destination

Correct. Uber there, enjoy the parade but wear your walking shoes. Bar bounce back towards your place for three or four hours and THEN get an Uber. You aren’t getting one right after things break up.

You're not on the Uptown route, so I'd just not do Tucks and roll up to Mid-city before the rush out of Uptown. As YA Tittle noted, the harder part is getting out of Mid-city. So either find some friends with a place in the area, a bar, or park in a location to make leaving easier. Might have to walk a bit to the route, but it'll be worth it after.

thanks for all 3 that have responded. We are going to a party on the planned route for Endymion so we won't really be in a rush to get out after. We can play it by ear

Last year I went and parked my truck at the corner of Broad and Canal early that morning....then Ubered back home and took my wife's car to the Uptown Parades.
When the uptown parades were over we went home and Ubered to where my truck was parked and watched Endy there.....when we were ready to leave my truck was right there and we headed home with no issues.
