Yup. If they would have said it’s a new strand of flu with the same albeit a little more severe side effects and mortality rate instead of giving it a name it wouldn’t be a big deal. Giving it a name like Covid ( I know that’s the official term), gives it more weight mentally. The flu sucks a respiratory infection sucks and covid sucks for some. Getting a virus is part of being human regardless of what it’s named for the most part.

Get well soon. Make sure you go see a cardiologist at some point down the road. There can be long term health issues associated with it

I know this is hard for this board of room temperature IQ folks to comprehend but two things can simultaneously be true at the same time.

This board continues to deny any ill effects from Covid or that close to a million have died from it.

I won't defend vax mandates or lockdowns but i am also not partisan enough to completely deny the obvious ill effects covid has had on folks like this board prides itself on.

Still have never caught it, never wore a mask. Never got the shot. Maybe I'm just lucky

full of antibodies, never once showed any symptoms after being exposed. Stayed home with a child with covid for a week taking care of her, NEVER got sick or coughed once....

I know for a fact that is at best up for dispute, and way more likely, an outright lie.

First time I felt well enough to go for a run, drink a bottle of wine, eat some wings, and watch the Frighteners with Michael j Fox and everyone was calling to check on me like I had terminal cancer

I was down and out from the 3rd to the 15th. Glad I got an extra day to return to work because I needed it. I never had it and it crushed me with nausea for like four days where I couldn't drink let alone eat. Whatever variant that's out there inflicted that nausea to me but eventually I was able to eat salads after drinking Gatorade and nothing but that and electrolyte and boost for a few days now im eating grilled chicken and vegetables pretty regularly and I'm past it hang in there

Same here. No idea where it came from but it's terrible. Comes in fits and it actually hurts.

If you wear a mask while driving in your car you won't get it.
