Not for everyone: I'm genuinely interested in the church you are involved with in BR

One of my New Year's resolutions is to get back into going to church with the family this year. We were raised Catholic but not wanting to go back to the Catholic Church right now (not sure ever). We like the messages and positivity that the large Mega churches have but we don't want to attend one of them at this time. Please tell me about your church in BR.

Mega church lol. Some former junkie in jeans and flip flops "spreading the word of Christ". Go back to the Church founded by the one and only Christ himself.

Split a piece of wood; I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there.

This thread is already off to a disastrous yet predictable start.

Literally perfect.

ETA: the downvoters are actually justified here: the heretical distortion of Christianity via Romanism really got cranking well after Constantine.

Not looking to criticize any religion or hijack the thread, just looking to get some personal recommendations on your church. Where do you go?

Not sure if this is a troll thread but if you're once catholic, you are always catholic. Return to your roots brother. No doubt we have problems in the church, but we have withstood them for 2000 years.

I wish all prots and those who have fallen away will return

Quaker meetings have brought a great deal of peace in our family.

Do you need to be Christian?

Probably not a good thread topic- it brings out the rabble and the holier-than-thou types.

Talk to your friends at work or at school and see what they say.

BR has lots of good churches, large and small.

I hope you find a Home.
