I gave you context. You don't go because you don't want to. You don't have to blame others.

Mega church lol. Some former junkie in jeans and flip flops "spreading the word of Christ". Go back to the Church founded by the one and only Christ himself.
One puts itself up as the supreme authority and so you end up putting your whole trust in it, and the other puts scripture as the supreme authority. I chose scripture… God’s word. He’s the rock upon which everything rests, not man, but God alone.
If you read the whole chapter you’ll understand who and what Christ is referencing, and it wasn’t the one who in the same chapter he referred to as Satan, or the one who later ended up denying him 3 times, which he repented of, but on God, and the unchanging and uncompromising Word of God, the same we also refer to as “The Rock” Christ is Alive and Well, and needs to vicar to represent Him on earth. He LIVES, and is still the head of His church, the body of believers in whom He inhabits as His temple.

There's the rub.
Spend some time in Ephesians 4. You're wrong. And I don't mean subjectively. You're out of context and misquoting scripture and need a church to help correct you when you do that.

I gave you a passage and follow up verses. You gave snark and dissent with no scriptural backing. You should find a church.

Well, I asked you specifically and you dont seem to have anything so lets just agree to disagree.
Have a good one.

I didnt quote a single piece of scripture. YOU DID.

Journey Church on Greenwell Springs Rd in Central. Non denominational. Awesome Christ based church.

Episcopal Church is often referred to as Catholic Light.

Unfortunately Oldmanbeasley is also currently a free agent. Had a preliminary meeting with the church of Scientology that I thought went well, but received a letter the next day informing me that they are not currently accepting new members.

That’s in the the Bible - then we have nothing until he was about 12 and He was there talking and teaching the elders. But I’m sure in those bits we don’t have - He attended with his earthly parents because they did. Plus Jews were required to go to the Temple in Jerusalem every so often.
To do what???
He also turned over tables and grabbed a whip and fussed at the money changers - I wonder what He’d do with an ATM in the back of church

I appreciate your sincerity.
I worked at and still attend Household of Faith in Gonzales. A solid, Bible based church with a 52 year history.
As for BR, we have had long time friendships with Bethany and Healing Place on the larger side. Both have stable pastors with integrity. Anchor Chapel is smaller but has a wonderful pastor. Encounter Church also fits that description.
I hope you find a church that blesses you and your family.

"It's very likely he will bounce from one stadium seating church to another. Catholics are all the twitch upon the thread types where they never really stop being catholic."
I certainly fall in this category. I am ecumenical.
There is only one Jesus. He is infinitely beyond wonderful enough to love us all. You can worship Him in so many ways and in countless churches. Christians have worshiped in groups since the beginning. As Pope John Paul put it: paraphrased: What joins Christians far outweighs what separates us. The ways of the Holy Spirit are mystical and greater than we can understand and it may be His design that multiple paths of Christianity may be best way to ultimately lead to unity.
Be not afraid. Seek the love of Christ. It is best to worship God with others as well as in solitude. Helping others is a great way to connect with God. My wife and I alternate going to Catholic Mass and to a Bible Fellowship Church. I love the Catholic Mass and the whole meaning behind it. I enjoy the vast majority of Christian Churches. Nothing wrong with enjoying worshiping Jesus Christ. I know I didn't answer your question but I understand your search.
I suggest reading "Crossing The Threshold Of Hope" by John Paul II
Publisher Alfred Knopf 1994
