Between Ashland and Norwalk. It's still coming down in bunches. Deep snow.

And yeah, it's going to drift real bad with these winds and negative temps coming

Dang, you all must have some of the best in the country if they get it right 25% of the time. SY better than NOLA and BR weather people.

I’m in Lorton, VA. Shitty rain right now, snowed a good bit last week. Thought it was supposed to again today.

Yeah, they were debating the rain/snow line for a week. We were planning for 5-8 inches but the moved it up to 12+ early this morning.

We havent had any snow yet, but lots of rain. Definitely a miss by the weather people for Columbus.

Supposedly getting 4 inches tonight and all the rain turn to ice, which could be worse than 12 inches of snow.

We'll see.

So, weathermen screw up forecasts in Ohio, too?
Today, our county was issued a tornado warning, yet the county wasn't in the tornado watch area. ( The watch area began the next county South, though)

One thing maybe worth mentioning, supposedly all the NWS folks are working for free since the government is "shut down".

This was a hard forecast, especially on the snow/rain line placement. I saw a couple of mets call the south/east sides ending up with more rain last night but that's a hard forecast to run out. Call for snow and you get rain, it's annoying. Call for rain and get a foot of snow...

All the NWS people are working without pay through the shutdown. NWS Birmingham picked out a tornado that did damage in Wetumpka, AL in the middle of a squall line and got it warned in time for people to get cover.

Lived close to Cleveland, one huge Shithole of a State

Please watch the negative comments regarding a state. I lived there and it's not a shithole. The constant cloudy weather will wear you down, weather takes it toll on buildings to make them look unkept and aged. OH does need to work on some things though.

Hope everyone is staying safe during this storm.

Weather lady said she expected 9 inches tonight. I thought to my self,”fat chance with a face like that.”

I've been plowing all morning. We had officially 16 inches but the drifting makes it worse

I've seen some bad pictures.
I'm guessing about an EF2, maybe 3.
