Nightmare scenario. They about to get sued into bolivian.

I have a hard time believing that anything with rabies was the greatest of all time.

The media is so hysterical. The "painful rabies shots" that they cite are a thing of the past. No series of shots in stomach. Now, it is four shots in the arm. They aren't pleasant, but they are no different than any other shot in the arm. Kids get theirs in the thigh (not the buttocks as you would have to redo the series as the shots in the buttocks are not effective). If they weren't bitten, they can't get the rabies antiglobulin, which is painful but not as the media person described.

They are expensive, though. Friend of mine had to go through it a few years ago

The only way you can test is to literally cut their head off and send it to a lab. Wish I was joking. If you’re showing symptoms it’s already too late.

Yeah, I think there are only a couple of cases in history of a person surviving rabies.
There are some videos of people that have rabies. Yikes.

You don’t have to be bitten. You could get the saliva on your hands feeding them a carrot or something. Then you rub your eyes or nose or put your fingers in your mouth and viola, you got rabies.

I don't think it should be too hard of a decision whether or not to get the vaccine for you child in this situation.
I can't imagine a parent deciding not to. You have to be 100% safe.
