In the clip, a person said to “make noise if you hate [racial slur].” Many people on the bus then made sounds.
“The behavior depicted in the social media post is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards we uphold at East Davidson High School,” the school said in a statement. “We recognize the impact this decision has on our student-athletes and appreciate our school community’s understanding as we address this matter.”
The school said the soccer season’s cancellation “reflects the seriousness of the situation and our commitment to upholding the standards of conduct and accountability expected of all students.”
In a separate statement, the East Davidson principal said school leaders “strongly condemn the behavior"
East Davidson’s soccer team posted a 17-4 record, including a forfeit on Monday, Oct. 26, after the video surfaced. The Oct. 26 match was the school’s final regular-season game of the year.
The 3A state varsity soccer playoffs are scheduled to begin on Nov. 2.
East Davidson High School is in Thomasville, about 30 minutes south of Winston-Salem and Greensboro.

What was the word used? What were the "make noise if you..." statements before? What if there were a string of "Make noise if we kicked their arse", "Make noise if we're the best", "Make noise if we're taking state!" followed by some dumbass' "Make noise if you hate ____" and kids already primed just cheered without listening?
